Shep and his furniture.

Has anyone whose had, or currently has Shep in their town, had any success getting him to replace any of the following items he comes with.

Fridge (Retro)
Simple Love Seat
Electric Fan
Cabana Wall Radio
Cabana Screen
Surfboard?

I can't get him to replace any of them, or even sell them to me when I visit.

All that stuff shouldn't exist in my town with it's theme, but I don't want to get rid of Shep.

And why didn't you like W Link for your smug?? His interior is PERFECT for your town, tailor made! I never played Zelda so have no preconceived notions and I really like him as far as looks and personality but his house is ready made for your Game of Thrones theme.

I know, but I got rid of him, as I already have a smug - Shep, plus I have two wolves already.

I also don't like W.Link's color.

But, that wasn't my question, guys.

It's about Shep's furniture, and if anyone who has had Shep in their town has been able to replace or buy any of the items in my initial post. ^_^

maybe try replacing it with a similar-functioning item (like a regular fridge) and try buying it then? I got Rodney to replace his sloppy stereo with a kiddie stereo once, so they do replace things they don't want to sell.

Most of Sheps stuff is regular junk you can buy at the store.

He just won't replace them, and I've mailed him many items the same size.

He NEVER replaces any of his own items.
Only things I've given him.

I think I'll get rid of Shep.

He's ruining the theme.

Six months I've tried.
That's long enough.

Omg, I swear some of my villagers have some sort of game glitch because they will not change like 3-4 pieces of furniture in their room no matter what I do or how many times I try! Rolf, Pekoe, and Ruby are the ones who have "permanent furniture" as I've started calling it but all the others replace absolutely anything and everything with stuff I send/give them. It's interesting but I'm okay with how Ruby and Pekoe's interiors look. Rolf was getting close but refuses to replace this red punching bag that totally goes against the cool colors zen theme I'm giving him :'o

I just replaced Sheps red love seat with a cabin couch just now, AND FINALLY replaced Wolfgangs hideous cardboard table with the large round tea table.

Finally getting somewhere. ^_^

Edit. OMG.

I just changed Wolfgangs music!
I googled that you couldn't, but he's playing Lucky K.K. ^_^

Edit. I replaced Wolfgangs stereo with one I was certain he'd let me buy - the dice stereo, as I wanted him to have the cicada stereo because it blends in.

He now has both the dice, AND cicada stereo's, and won't sell me either of them.

Goodbye Wolfgang.

Shep too, because he's NEVER going to part with that fridge. :-/
