Yay!!! Positive Mental Attitude!!!

Fave flower is purple mums! I've had some success getting them! I haven't done any hybrid farming, so I'm pleased with the few I have!

Also my dreamie is Wart Jr! I tend to like the odd ball villagers.

Aww I love this idea!

Billy is honestly the cutest, funniest guy. I love talking to him. He's my first picture I've gotten so far just cause I enjoy talking to him and seeing what he's up to. His jock personality makes him a little dense, but in the most hilarious ways and lately he hasn't really been hyping about his muscles or anything he's just been really nice to talk to. He told me how nice of a day it is today and how he's looking forward to seeing the meteor shower tonight and I'm happy for him

I love how my campground area is coming along. It's a cedar forest and it's got a controlled population of weeds and cosmos growing wild all around and I've got Forest Life playing on a block stereo and it just feels so cool and calm. Like I can imagine the breeze blowing through. Sandy lives on the other side of the little stream through there and she spends her time watering the windflowers by her house and it's just so cozy and nice over there.

The morning of May 1st I saw the first great purple emperor gliding around up there and it just felt so right. I love the way that one flies and for the mountain area it's perfect.

i LOVE wart jr!! i had him for years as a kid in wild world and went on such a journey with him. i hated him at first but as he warmed up to me i started warming up to him too, and talking to him ended up being one of my favorite parts of the game. i went on such a long journey with him...i was so sad when i went to fetch my copy of wild world a few weeks ago to check in on him only to remember that i sold it...

my favorite flowers are roses! i think all the colors look beautiful but orange might be my favorite. i had so much fun decorating audie's yard with red and orange roses

I'll be honest, I had to look up Billy, but I'm not disappointed that I did. What a cute little orange goat, I'm so happy that he's living his best life! And your campground area sounds BEAUTIFUL I'm aiming to have mine are gorgeous as you make yours sound!

I don't have a 5 star town due to the fact that i had to start from scratch but it's starting to look put together and I'm super excited to share the results with my friends <3
I'm still looking for my last dreamie baabara but rn I prioritized my friend's dreamies before finding her because honestly she's not too popular and I haven't had any luck finding her anywhere but that is A-O-K~

Also, I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one who matches my villager's colors to the flowers I plant around their houses, it's just such a cute touch <3

i have so much fun figuring out which flowers match which villagers! i literally have a field of different species of blue and white flowers in front of whitney's house because i couldn't figure out which ones i wanted to use and ended up just deciding that she deserved to have her own personal flower field LOL

A funny thing I also wanted to share: My native fruit is pears. And I'm perfectly happy with that. The reason?
My island name: "es-pear-a"
Couldn't pass up the pun to have something like oranges or apples instead! And besides it just means all the more colorful fruit is worth more haha

An update from literally just now as I'm playing: Sprinkle has apparently been talking to Monty about how I'm into singing, and then decided to ask me if that's still true - it is. She sincerely believes I'm runway material - "you've got the strut and your cheekbones are so tres fab I could die" like wut alrighty then

Favorite flower? That's a tough one. My native roses are pretty, but I gotta say I like how the pansies cover the ground with their broad leaves and I've always adored their colors! Cosmos, also a classic favorite - I miss how the yellow ones were called "sun cosmos" in Wild World, it made them special! It's a bit of a battle to get blue or purple flowers at the moment, but I hope I get them soon! Oh and the green mums are really cool, I just really need to reorganize my mum breeding as I haven't paid any attention to which yellow mums are bred and which aren't, oops!

Haha yes pamper Whitney. That kinda reminds me of that one AC anime they based off of Wild World - I think Whitney was in it and there may have been a garden of blue roses involved? Or was that Apollo's garden...

I've been color coding some of my villagers' flowers too - my starters being orange and pink made it really easy for me, haha. Tulips is like I guess my second native flower since I always have it in my Nook's? I came across a hybrid island of pink, orange and black tulips so it worked out well for that. Clay, my starter lazy, gets black tulips. I'm waiting on a snooty but she'll probably have purple tulips...

New Horizons is my first AC game and I’m loving it so much. I kinda admired Animal Crossing from afar, but I thought I was too late once I saw New Leaf‘s release date? I’m so glad I finally made the jump into this series, for it’s brought so much joy! The idea of creating an island to my desires is intimidating, since I don’t really know what I want most of the time...still, the fact that one can create their very own paradise is charming to me.

I got my first blue pansy today! I also do the flower thing; currently trying to arrange 6 blue flowers by Sherb’s house. Breeding is...not going well ahaha but with this and a blue hyacinth, progress is 1/3rd of the way. I’m hopeful to getting there! Maybe I ought to try breeding green mums to place around Sprocket’s house.

Speaking of Sprocket...okay, so I’m sorry if I’m becoming a broken record on this forum since I’ve mentioned him a lot on this. I just...love him so much? If he never got brought back via that update for New Leaf, I never would have been able to start my island with him, thus I’m thankful for it. Maybe this is silly, or even a bit weird but I take so many pictures and smile at just about everything he does, even if I’ve seen it several times. Or maybe it’s something new/adorable and I start grinning. Like today, for example, I got taught the flourish reaction and..

It was just so cute to me, the pose, the stars, his cheerful face...! With the way the ping for it happened, it was like he saw someone cheerfully clap for him as he was dancing, realised it was me and became very joyful to see his best friend. I know, in reality, this isn’t a unique thing at all; every jock villager can do this. Yet, something about it being done by my favourite villager fills me with joy. I love him! Seeing all those Twitter posts about him being in boxes makes me wish I could adopt Sprocket multiple times...

Ah, this is a long post. But I don’t really have a space to let most of my thoughts out, happy or not, so I kinda rambled it all out here. ^^; I hope I’m not being too overbearing...this is a good thread~ I think there was another thread like it somewhere, but more positivity can’t do any harm!

Also...I LOVE how many little stories and headcanons and ships people have for their characters! It makes every island feel so lively, that people are weaving these stories out of little happenstance convos or meetings. I love it.

I love love love all of the new fruity and flowery items in the game. Roses look amazing (thank you Nintendo for allowing us to get more flowers solo), I got a recipe for a fruit wreath and it looks soooo good. I also have a yellow surprise tulip and the figure inside looks like Princess Peach.

i've had nan and chevre both at the top of my villager want list since i started nh, still looking for nan but i have chevre and when i first went in her house and saw the picture of nan above her bed................heart melted instantly, i love these little goat girlfriends
