Sharing a birthday with a villager?

I was considering trading some of my old villagers for new ones. I love all of my little animal friends, but I'd like a change of scenery, and have so many animals I like with such little room for them. Anyways, one of the animals that was high on my list of move-ins was Marcie, but uh-oh, Marcie and I share a birthday. As much as I like her, I think I like the whole in game birthday event even more. I probably won't adopt her if her birthday basically cancels mine out. Can anyone confirm whether or not both of us can have birthday parties? Thanks

i dont believe that her birthday will cancel yours out.

you should still be able to get your birthday event, while she gets hers

I'm not too certain but I'd guess you'd have your birthday first and then when the party ends and you end up back at your house you can then visit Marcie for her birthday party

I'm actually too lazy to search for it, but there is a thread somewhere for posting which villager shares your b-day. Super fun thread imo, thx for sharing, and for answering my question!
