i got shadowrun returns as a gift and i finished it in a day. amazing game, great storytelling, if you havent played it yet go play it.

picked up dragonfall for 4 dollars. the games were like 80% off and im like holy crap how have i never played this before?? and im sooo excited for hong kong

basically if you like cyberpunk turn based rpgs this game is for you. yes its connected to the old SNES game and the genesis version

I heard they fixed saves so might give i another try, it's an awesome indeed. I got SRR when it first was out pretty much so it had quite some flaws, that you could only save between certain things and such.

I do want DF and HK, kinda poor right meow though.

I'm a pretty big fan of Shadowrun and was into the tabletop RPG for quite a few years, backed the kickstarter for the PC game and played the hell out of it. I've only got a bit through the first expansion but I'm pretty excited for Hong Kong.

The TTRPG sounds really nice have a friend who plays it and it sounds interesting af tbh.

Is the online game good? I heard its pretty bad.

I really want to play the original game but Im too lazy to emulate. I know theres one on the genesis which i imagine will even be harder to find.

i think theyre remaking shadowrun on dragonfall tho so ill check out the maps i suppose

Ehhh. The online game is kind of weird. Wouldn't really recommend it tbh.

Looked on amazon and it seems like the price for the genesis version is in the 30-50$ range.

Yeah it's alright. I heard it was way better than the original PC version though *cough*

Anyways, I *think* they fixed the save problem so it should be better, that you could only save in certain places which was pretty annoying :| Some levels can be a bit steep though.

I generally only save when I'm done with a mission. I wish I saved right before we got to kill Sam's sister. SMH. I saved her because I felt nice but I want to go back and watch her get devoured by bugs.

Yeah me too because you could only do that before mango.

I hate that really long mission though when you start in some kind of cellar-ish area and you have to go through a crapton of floors.

Ugh I hated the bug missions sooo much. I hated waiting for the goddamn bugs to come out like I would have to wait a few turns for them to come out and I wouldn't know where so it would be really annoying and random.

Yeah that's the one I think like they were behind shelves and curtains and whatnot.

Might re-install the game now if my Internet feels like not crashing it lol.

They would randomly break down walls to come in and I would just be waiting there forever..

I like how you get to know your teammates better in dragonfall. Also apparently there's an achievement to kill Dante (wtf) but I don't see it anymore so I guess they took it out? lmao

I was playing around with the map editor coz I had an idea for a map but I got so confused with content packs lol. I wanted to use Seattle and Berlin but idk where to choose them

I want that ~_~ too broke though and i still need some other expansion I believe. I still like it though.

That's good, some of those aspects were kinda broke.. well the NPCs in fights can still be but tbh as long as you set up the skills properly for your type should be less of a prob.

The enemy AI is a lot better. There's seems to be this new type of skill? These zombies sent my characters to another world and they fought there. It was kind of weird.

The matrix now involves stealth which is cool. I suck at it tho

Good to hear, some later AI were just blech, and cool

I have to play it. I've played maybe 4 hours or so and then Witcher 3 came out. Gah! And now Hong Kong is out.
