Seriously, Fuchsia?

Fuchsia's sold me a painting two times, for the *low* price of around 1,000 something bells, and both times they've been fake! Seriously Fuchsia, I know you need money desperately but not like this... she's starting to become the Crazy Redd of my town LOL. How many times has a villager sold you a fake painting?

Rooney and Ken are my town's painting dealers. Ken gave me a (fake) one for free once. And Rooney has sold me two real ones. They are hanging, happily, in my museum!

Lucha gave me a fake once...but since it was free, I couldn't be mad. Luckily, I have a garbage can in my town.

I've been approached by Beardo when he lived in my town numerous times to sell me artwork and I declined all but one. On that one occasion, when I decided to test it and buy it, he said he felt bad for charging me and gave it to me for free. It ended up being genuine so it worked out for me lol but I probably wouldn't take that gamble again.

Hans LOVES trying to get me to buy paintings. Usually for 3,000 bells, too. I think I've only gotten one genuine painting from him, lol.

If I remember correctly, I got like 7 fake paintings from my villagers. Can't blame them for not knowing that the painting is fake.

Even though I bought a couple of them that turn out to be real.

Yeah uchis do give you genuine paintings sometimes, they're not like the scammers of ACNL or anything a smug is just as likely to give you fake art...
I've been done that way several times, although it's normally by a smug villager selling me the painting for 7,000 bells or something. Ocassionaly they feel bad about asking such a high price and give it away for free instead but that's not very often....
I've been quite lucky up until now, had about 7 genuine and 3 fake
