In recent times there has been a misunderstanding about Rule 5. It states:
Some topics are not permitted for discussion in the forums because they may lead to flaming or insulting other members. Topics include:

* Religious topics and beliefs; however, holiday and history discussions are allowed
* Sexual orientation or any topic about sexual matters
* Politics
* Other controversial topics or topics that may result in flaming
Well first off let's start by going through the list.

Talk about religion is prohibited as we can not allow the promotion of one religion. Even if you aren't promoting a certain religion people will interpret it otherwise. The same thing goes with sexual matters. Any thread discussing these matters will be locked and possibly deleted unless the staff sees otherwise.

And than we get to politics. You may not promote any single world leader, political party, or something that will cause flaming. However you may discuss any news that relates to politics! This is one thing people don't get and I think it's time we make this clear. Whether it is the presidential election or world news. The private politics board is being considered for those who want to go above that and discuss it to an even higher level.

As for the final part, all I can say is use your common sense. I really don't think I should need to make a list of topics that are allowed and those that aren't allowed. If you're unsure on any of the rules, I'd suggest that you contact a staff member.

The staff wants to make sure everyone is able to voice out their opinions on world matters however we also want to make sure no one is offended at the same time.
