Sentimental aspects of your town?

Is there anything in your town you have/keep because of its sentimental value?

For me, it's my boyfriend's character's house. He created a character in my town a day or two after we started dating in 2013, and when I sit in front of my plaza tree I love how it says the date when "James moved to town." So even though he never actually plays the game and I don't necessarily like where he placed his house, I could never delete his character just because I love seeing that when I sit by the plaza tree.

Unfortunately nothing in my new leaf town, but in my Wild World town I have the character of a friend who passed away, even though I don't play wild world anymore, it's still comforting to know that she's there, or at least, like a version of her is still there.
It's a long story, but basically we were in a place together where Web enabled devices were not allowed so I took my DS Lite instead of a 3DS so I could play some games c: She used to watch me playing and I eventually helped her make her own character - we'd send each other letters and hide items around the town and had an ongoing battle on what furniture set we wanted for the main room (She wanted regal, I wanted modern)
It's weird, but I kind of like to imagine that our characters hang out in my town together.
I have so many fond memories but it's kind of difficult for me to go on that town anymore. (It was on an R4 card with other games so I didn't have to take so many cartridges, but I also have a Wild World game card of my own.) I hope our characters are doing okay.
