Sending Clothing/Accessories Through Mail - Will They Wear it?

New to this series but picked WW up on the cheap, so sorry if this question is dumb.

I wanted to give one of my villagers some sunglasses because they would look really good on her, so I wrote a letter to her and sent them with it. She replied and gave me some furniture, but she isn't wearing the glasses. Will she wear them?

No. Villagers are not able to wear accessories or hats of any kind.

Might work with shirts, though.

Aw that sucks, they would have looked so good on her! She's put them on display in her house which I think is a bit irritating lol.
