I sold somebody a Pokeball for 500 TBT thinking they actually wanted a Pokeball, and they ended up giving it away. I was just trying to be a nice person, but honestly, you can’t trust anybody. You just can’t.

and i was like oh im kinda low on tbt why dont i sell some of my collectibles? why is everyone making such a big deal about this GEEZ

Now now, what do we have here. Mm. If you were just trying to be a nice person, I suggest you try brushing yourself off and putting on a nice smile instead of becoming, idek, distrustful and borderline bitter over a collectible of no tangible value, Croconaw. And Dedenne2, even if it was the cake you'd sold to Wildtown, once you've accepted payment and handed over the goods, it's none of your beeswax what the recipient does with what is rightfully theirs. One could buy something for 1,000 tbt and sell it for twice the price if they feel like it and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. If you feel like you got a bad deal, then it would be much more productive that the pair of you learn how to barter instead of whining in other peoples threads. Besides, Wildtown clearly has two tasty cakes displayed under their avatar, so what absolute utter nonsense. Thanks for nothing guys ^-^ PS: I'll take the cake for 20 tbt 'cause why tf not; still cheaper than shop price.

No need to be rude of course

You should consider taking your own advice. Last time I checked I'm not the one who jumped into a random thread to express my dissatisfaction with something irrelevant to said thread.

I don’t have to explain myself to you. When you do something nice for someone, you don’t sell it to make a profit. No need to respond to my particular comment because the situation is related to discussion in this thread. Plus, you are the one telling people that what happens to their collectibles after they sell them is none of their business. If you are okay with stuff like that, you do you. I just find that doing something nice is clearly not worth it because some people just don’t have full appreciation for acts of kindness. An item normally going for 20,000 TBT, I sold for 500 trying to be nice. It didn’t work out. And I’d rather have given that Pokeball to someone who actually wanted it rather than someone to sell it or trade it away.

Yeah, you're right, but I never asked you to explain yourself did I. My point is, don't go telling people to watch their attitude when you've got one of your own you should be watching. And also that no, it wasn't related or relevant to 'discussion' in this thread. One other person before you decided to step in and ask a rhetorical question about whether or not it was the same cake they'd sold OP, and then you came in grovelling about not knowing who you're able to trust saying you were just trying to be kind by selling a collectible (that's not even mentioned in this thread) cheap. That's hardly a discussion, and a thread about cake and candy collectibles is certainly not the most appropriate place to slip such a jibe in. I've seen you mention this in a couple of other threads where this kind of comment is better suited, but don't try to pretend it actually provided any substance to this thread, or that this was intended to be a discussion thread at all. Also, it will serve you well in life not to expect your kindness to be returned in kind. I mean, explain this to me if you will, did thinking you'd made somebody happy make you happy only for you to suddenly have that happiness ripped away from you when you realised what you'd given them wasn't a source of happiness for them? If so, does knowing they sold or traded it for something that did make them happier not return that sense of happiness to you? Or is it more of a pride thing? Truly, I fail to understand what the big deal is--you sold it fair and square I assume, so what does it matter to you what happened after that fact? Unless they lied to you, in which case, that's sucky, but still, this thread ain't really the place for it. So to avoid derailing OP's thread any further I'll just finish off by saying PM if you want to but I won't be replying to > making any more off-topic posts here ^o^
