Self driving cars will only be safe if ALL of the cars are replaced with self driving cars, because if there are people still driving some cars it can't really protect you from that. I mean sure they have like "car detecting stoppers" and stuff like that but that doesn't save you from the other people. So unless all of the cars get replaces at the same time it wont be safe.

I think overall it is a good think driverless cars. I vary much look forward to the day i can send my car out to pickup my groceries for me.
Think about it send car to pick up your kids, or your drunk spouse,And for fun just to mess with people put your Dog in front seat so he can
drive the car. I think it would also cut down on speeding and driver related accidents as well as drunk driving deaths.

I think the people it will help the most are Truck drivers they can get some sleep wile still keeping there time frame to get stuff there on time.

Any Car can be Hacked.. not just a driverless one , Truth is we live in a world were people do stuff for the hell of it or cause they can, but
truth also is we will always have people like that and we can't let them hold back progress out of Fear.

didnt someone who was testing a self-driving car run into a truck recently due to an error the car made? i think self-driving cars are super cool, but i personally wouldnt use one until they become more common and trustworthy, as well as until they fix all of the errors. in this sort of situation, bugs = risk of death
