Hello, all! My name is Ryan (or Ry) and I need some people to play with on the 3DS (but almost solely AC:NL alone)!

For compatibility reasons, I'll communicate a few personal characteristics of mine to aid you in your decision to befriend me or not:

Just about nineteen, mostly a loner but I'm still mellow and easy to interact with. I play the guitar, piano, harmonica, banjo, and bass (you play guitar, you can play the bass without having to learn any additional techniques or theory). I mostly spend my days jamming to my favorite bands (the Grateful Dead, Phish, Railroad Earth, Humphrey's McGee, and many, many more), but recently started playing my 3DS again (bought an XL back in July) and figured I would make an effort to make some online friends.

Currently I own:
AC:NL,
Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon
Shin Megami Tensei IV
and Mario & Luigi: Dream Team on digital

I am probably one of the biggest Zelda fans in the world and will ABSOLUTELY be getting aLBW at midnight.

If you require any additional info, just ask! I'd be more than happy to oblige your request! Otherwise, that's me in a nutshell. I hope you'll consider befriending me and....

PLEASE; don't be afraid of doing or saying anything to, or regarding me. I'm incredibly kind, at least by my own observations, and I'm quite easy to get on with. So don't hesitate to get in touch!

Thank you to all who took the time to read this,
--Ry

Heyo. I've been playing New Leaf since the end of July and I'm still addicted to it, so I'm always looking to collect online friends who are considerate, intelligent, and willing to be silly and play about with me in my town when I'm bored. The only game I have besides AC:NL is Colors! 3D right now (or rather app) but I'm also a major LoZ fan and will probably be getting aLBW too.
Some info about me:
My name is Vickie, I'm a guy, and I'm 16. I consider myself pretty mature and laid-back. I like drawing, painting, and generally any artsy stuff. I like horror and sci-fi novels, my favorite music is 50's-70's rock and blues, (I like a lot of other genres as well) and I practice the piano some myself. I'm pretty much a loner as well.
It seems like we'd get along. ^^

I'm cooking dinner for my family right now, but I really hope that as soon I'm done we will be able to play. Especially with you, V. I, too, listen to the same music. I cut my musical teeth on 60's and 70's classic rock and psychedelia.

And yeah, I enjoy reading as well. I have some rad books. One is a study on basic microtechnique, which is awesome. There's also a 60's AP biochemistry textbook, the most accurate known translation of Mein Kampf known to exist, ANOTHER extremely in-depth study, this time on advanced botany, 'the Encyclopedia of Hallucinogenics', various mycological textbooks, and SO many more.

-edit- V, I forgot to comment on how you dig the blues. I used to be in a blues band awhile back. Used to play music festivals beside some epic jam bands who are well-known in the Eastern US. It was a mix between B.B. and Black Sabbath's 'sludge' blues.

That's awesome. :D I like reading about biochemistry too, and anatomy. (I'm in training to be a mortician) Sorry we couldn't play right now, the server was down for a few hours I guess. ^^; I've added you though!

To anybody that sees this: Wall-O'-Text inbound. This was almost explicitly written for the user 'Hey_Jude'. However, if you dig music, or want to go ahead and read it regardless, then by all means, you're all more than obliged.

Yeah, man, back in high-school, I was really close with the band director. He was a brilliant man, AS WELL as a mortician. He was/is epic.

Our; school had a band comprised of people who couldn't play/didn't care about music, and though I wasn't in the band, I was the only talented musician among the whole of the school. So we were close. He would actually leave after the third pd. and lock the band room. He started leaving it open for me and nobody was hip to the fact. So since I managed the library fifth period, lunch sixth, gym seventh and eighth, and a science class ninth with a Deadhead who let me go over to play while giving me C's just for being a Deadhead as well, I was able to go to school for four periods, then be in the band room for the rest of the day.

If it wasn't for that, I wouldn't be fluent on the piano. My parents tasked me with the composition of a wedding 'song' -- something to walk down the aisle to -- and since at the time I only played the guitar and harmonica, they expected it on the guitar. I ascertained that a propper wedding song would only rightfully be composed and performed as a piano forte piece. Naturally, I used all my time alone in that room to set myself upon, and ultimately accomplish that goal (with the help of an all-natural and creativity-stimulating herb).

They were more than taken-aback when I showed up without my guitar, consoled them by telling them not to worry, sat down at the piano as they started down the aisle, and let loose a barrage of beautiful melodies. All without any prior knowledge regarding the piano.

And that's how my school's epic band director, my parents wedding, and the blessing of being given five periods of nothing but alone-time in a dark room full of instruments all conspired and surmounted in my love for piano. Which lent itself to me absolutely NEEDING one, and due to my performance at the wedding, it convinced my parents to drop $1,000 of their tax-return on one, completely on a whim. We simply went to Guitar Center for strings and came back with THE keyboard. And I mean THE. KEYBOARD. The EXACT one that I found on the internet several months before, when I got the idea to write that song for my parents on the piano. I was just looking at pianos one day and saw a Yamaha Portable Grand, and instantly fell in love with the full 88-key beauty (of course it's 88-keys, it's supposed to be a Grand, but with the option of portability).

Dude, IDK how I went on that tangent, but it's the first time I told that story. It felt rad.

-edit- Phone auto-corrected. *write that SONG, NOT 'write that along'.
-edit- *ON, not one.

Woah. You sound like you have some serious skills. That's a really cool story; High-school has, so far, been nothing short of boring to me. I wish I had an awesome Band director/Mortician to hang around. I'm not in band and I don't take my piano playing very seriously. ;-; My grandmother gave us an old wall piano to use, but it's not entirely functional as it's missing 2 keys, which are gonna be hella hard to replace as it's so old they're made of ivory. It also needs re-tuned. I do have a keyboard but it's not the best thing in the world. *Sigh* I'm more interested in the saxophone and guitar buuut hey, I'd need some serious cash to buy decent instruments. ^^; haha. For now I'm content with art stuff.
