i got the secret room on my first town, but i cant get it on my second, is that because my house isn't fully upgraded? I didn't really want a massive house on this town though, will i have to completely expand to get it??
Yep you can get it even if your house isn't fully upgraded. I got it even though there's only 3 rooms in my house. Maybe the reason you can't get it is because you haven't paid off your latest loan yet? That's the only reason I can think of. Nook made me pay off the loan I hadn't paid off before he let me have the secret storeroom.
To have the secret room you should have, at least, the room upstair and pay off your latest loan. Then he will ask you if you want to expand a room or add another one, just select that you want to add another one.
