So I'm thinking of getting a second ACNL cartridge, but I don't want to spend a lot of money on a game I already have. Is there somewhere I can get it kinda cheap, like a used one?

Depends on the store that you will but it
For me a used copy cost me 23$
And a new one 30$
So it depends

Hmmm

I can easily get about 10, so I'm not sure where I should get it from

When I bought my copy I actually got it free, cause gamestop was doing this sale (when I got in July last year) where if you buy a used game you can get another for free if it's $20 or less. I bought Pokemon X and got New Leaf as a freebie.

Without the sale it would have been 20 though, since it was used. I don't know of any place that would sell it for 10.

Not the actual game, just the amount of money I have right now, since I'm broke :p. But I can see what I have, and figure that out

I downloaded mine from the eshop "Which I regret" but I think there was a discount on the game at the time. I'm not sure when the next one will be but you can always wait for a discount on eshop. c:

Yeah usually the game isn't discounted all that often although it has been out for a long time. I guess it's still popular among fans, so it doesn't get price reduction all that often because people are willing to buy it at the price it's currently being sold at and it's still getting a lot of sales. I believe I saw a used copy for about ?24, but I didn't buy it. I think i'd rather stick with one copy because if I bought a second one I doubt i'd use it as much as I use my original. I think if you're sure you're going to use the second copy, then i'd save up to get one. If not, I wouldn't.

It will probably not drop in price until a new similar Animal Crossing game is released (Designer and the WII game are just too different from previous versions). Until then, as people have stated above, the used copies are usually just a few dollars cheaper than a new version.
