Seasonal Decorating

So I'm gonna start doing this soon starting in fall! Its basically redecorating your town depending on the season.

For fall I'd build a fence in town and decorate it with pumpkin QRs. I'll also set up the scarecrow PWP somewhere in town. Having the log bench would also look very autumny and cute.

In winter I'll demolish the scarecrow and put up the illuminated trees and display the tower somewhere in town! basically id just make the winter full of illuminated pwps due to the lack of christmas lights!

For spring I would tear down the illuminated arch from winter and display the flower arch and picnic set around town, replacing the tower with the wisteria trellis

In summer all I can think of is a summer camp vibe! I would display the totem pole somewhere around town and replace the tower with the jungle gym! id also set up some camping cots and torches and maybe the lighthouse

I think this would be fun to do since a lot of people just stick with one theme and are finished. I'd like to change it up in every season

That's a cute idea but I'm way too lazy for that. lol The most I do is change my house.

That's cute! I would never have the motivation to do that though xD I think it'd be a little too much for me, I just change my character's clothes depending on the season lol.

Honestly the only times I want to change my town would probably be around Halloween! I want all the cute candy and ghost paths!

But I really admire how much you do to keep ya town awesome!

I never thought of the PWP changing. All I do is change out the trees in one area for my town. >.> I forget the name, but the pine trees that get the lights go up in September. And I replace them with Cedar by March, for the cherry blossoms in April.

I also have an open area where I try to use flowers to make pictures based on the season. My jack-o-lantern is kind of disappointing, but the heart is really cute! I was not able to get enough hybrids for the summer so it's just empty right now.

Wow, that's a lot of effort. I doubt I'll be changing my town much over the seasons.

Wow that sounds cool! I don't think I'd be able to keep that up myself, I manage to decorate for Christmas and that's about it. But it sounds awesome for those more on top of that kind of detail than I am.

Nice! I think I might do that but it would most likely be small changes like making my perfect fruit trees bare during the Fall or adding more mushooms, etc.

I do that! I also redecorate my house depending on the season - in Summer I try to make it look like a conservatory, with lots of plants, the loveheart bench and lots of fans and radios. In the winter I turn it into a little log cabin with a fire place, the red sofas and the cabin series. It keeps it interesting for me to have something to work towards during each season instead of just having a theme and being done.
One of my favourites is putting loads of orange and black flowers around town ready for halloween!

In my new/current town, I'll be changing out stepping stone patterns for each season. I might also put out candy around my town (wrapped up in a present of course) in October. Ummm, when the mushrooms come around, I'll definitely place some around my paths and campsite. For Christmas... I'll probably just make my living room festive. Then for spring, I might have clovers around town. Yeah, once I actually get there, I'll probably think of something better. xD
