(?) Seashell question

Are seashells "handed out" by hand?
I haven't received any shells yet so I figure it's either just
a time thing or they just have to get to me first.

It's no rush but I figured I'd ask as the FAQ didn't specifically
mention it. Tried thread searching and
couldn't find anything.

Well! I just got my shells, thank you! Still kinda curious which it is lol. Either way I do appreciate it, I was excited to get the animated avatar

I believe you get a certain amount of seashells when you join and also once you've been a member of the forums for two years. If you didn't have them still it could have just been an error, but glad to see that you were able to get them!
