Search Feature in Custom Design Portal

I am soo Glad this was added!! Now that this search feature is a thing, I think I am going to get rid of alot of my in game clothes now. It is nice not having to have an ID number just to look for designs.

unfortunately it doesn't look like a keyword search. Like if the title is sunflower shirt and you typed in sunflower that design won't come up. This I do hope they fix later.

I was wondering if anyone else mentioned the last bit yet. Odd, considering the ability of the nook shopping to do a ‘containing my phrase’ search. Still, progress is progress.

definitely agree with the last bit - i don’t even know what keywords to use when trying to find a certain style so i feel like i’m still missing out on a lot of patterns lmao. still, i’m very glad that this feature was added and i’ve been using it a lot over the last few days - has definitely made trying to find new designs a lot easier for me aha

any future designs I make, I suppose I will try to keep it a generic one word title so people can actually run into it.

I tried using it and since I didn’t really know what key word to use, I just left it blank and searched by pattern (not sure what’s it called in game, but e.g would be categories like floor/tile, dress, etc) instead. I found some pretty neat designs this way but I think it’d still be better to know the code, or at least the name of a specific design you want to find to get the best results.
As others have said here, I do like that we can favorite creators now!
