My SD card is filled with a LOT of images, I want to take them off, but they're on my SD card; and so is Pokemon X and my copy of Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Stupid question but, can I take it out? What are the risks?

you can take it out
i haven't tried it myself so yeah but dont take it out while your 3ds is on [heard it can corrupt data and things so i suggest not to]

your game files wont affected. dont click on the folder with those games which is under the Nintendo 3DS folder

Turn your ds off when taking it out/putting it. Just be careful not to snap it or loose it or something (if you do loose it I don't think it affects the actual game, unless it's downloaded)

You can buy ds card adapter things. I think they look like a memory stick

Yeah you can take the SD card out. It won't do any harm as long as you take it out when the 3DS is off and the only data you move off the card is the pictures.
Never mind
An SD card won't fit in this laptop
wth
What use is a laptop without an SD Card slot
ugh
/cynicalwhateverness
USB SD card readers can be found for pretty cheap. I got mine for around 5 USD. Or you could ask around to see if any friends have one you can borrow.

My computer automatically asks me if I want to import images. So I click yes, let it do it's thingv then go back to the system once the SD Card is back in and delete them from there

Can't you also delete them without taking the SD card out? You can also upload them from the DS, too.

I realize this takes a while, as it is one photo at a time and you'd be uploading them to a website rather than just saving to a computer, but if you had real worries about taking it out, it is an option.
