Scary Stories

my computer's screen gives off a clear reflection of what's in front of it. i had my desktop open, which is just a black screen at like 1 am and i was the only person still awake. i was just studying and looked up to stare at my reflection in my computer screen bc im that much of a narcissist, and i dont even know what it was but i saw something like a curtain fly past behind me -- but there was nothing there. the only thing thats behind me is a huge chunk of empty space and my closed closet

Well, it's not exactly scary, but it scared me and my friend.

Back in August, I was playing around 9 PM with my friend. There was this truck that had pulled up at a bus stop on the corner which my friends back neighbors lived. The truck was stopped there for a good 10 or so minutes. Me and my friend got creeped out. We looked at the truck, and stared trying to find out what he was doing. We saw he was actually taking pictures. The truck left, so we ran. The truck saw us at my house, so we escaped inside my house, constantly switching houses, until we got too scared, we went seperate ways. That was the last thing we saw of that truck. Until September, where the same truck was parked, with lights on, in the road in front of my house.

This traced me back to a memory back in October 2014. There was a truck parked outside our house. The motor sounded like a lawn mower. Now, it was a warm year, so we didn't get any snow, nor was it too cold. I thought to myself, Who would be mowing their lawn at this time at night? So, I decide to peek out my blinds, only to find a truck parked in front of our house. I told my mom, who peeked out, also seeing the truck. My mom got my dad up, ready to get his gun out. I peeked out again, the truck left.

Why are trucks so scary?

I have a scary story...

I read this one on Reddit:

I was hanging out in my room, my door wide open. If you look out the doorway, you can see the stairs directly.
I looked out one time, and I saw what looked to be a scarred face, peeking out up the stairwell, moving side to side a bit.

It's not as scary if you imagine it with a slide whistle

I died from laughing at that.. The story is really scary though D:
(note it's not completely accurate, I can't remember all of it off the top of my head.)

TBH a lot of creepy things happen to me, like on constant, it's a great time. Most recently I had the house to myself for the first time in a long time(I like with 5 people, it's really rare), we hadn't taken down our Halloween decorations and we had this stuffed costume of Slenderman hanging over our entryway, he was facing the other direction and his white head had a black zipper down the back, and the back was the part facing the living room that I was in, so I could see the zipper. (It's hard to explain.) So I went to the kitchen to fill my water cup with ice and water and when I went to walk back through the living room he turned his head so I could just see the white part, or the front of the face cover, so the zipper had been turned and as soon as he turned to peek at me he turned back around to his normal position. Nobody was home and it was really weird so I rushed into my room. It's by no means the first ghosty activity that we've had in the house, but after the fire here it had died out and nothing had happened (I figured the spirits felt our grief and didn't want to make it worse?) but then that same night I went to take a shower and we have a large glass walled shower, I had music playing on my phone and when I was about half done showering I saw what looked like a balloon with tissue paper over it, this is the best way I can explain it, it was like a disembodied flowy looking head that was just a darker shade of white then the rest of the bathroom so I could just hardly see it..., it like bobbed similar to how a balloon bobs and it moved quickly from my mom's closet to the middle of the bathroom then dissipated, and then like a minute later I turned and saw what looked like an arm going for the window of the bathroom, like right next to the shower heading for the tassels that open/shut the blinds in the same sort of flowy bobby kind of way... having so much happen in one night was really shocking since nothing had happened for a while, but I attribute it to my mom's new boyfriend moving in, cause ghosts really hate change...
