Scary glitchy disappearing Gracie

Well, I finally ended up on a day that Gracie showed up. She gave me her theme and all was good, till I accidentally gave Pietro the Neutral Painting I was going to donate. Realizing the odds of getting it back, I reset. I started up, got the speech, and skipped back to the plaza. Well, she wasn't there! I was pretty unhappy at myself then, pondering resetting over and over again till I got her, but I went to Molly knowing she'd calm me with her cuteness, upon exiting and going toward the rock by the plaza, she popped up just as I came upon it. She freaked me out, but I'm glad she's there XD
Anything like that happen to you all? I'd never heard of the glitch happening before

I wouldn't be surprised, after all, the days Gracie shows up is randomized, so it could be that when you reset, it took that for a day Gracie WASN'T there.

It may have been your camera position? Things appear disappear when you're looking at them from different positions, and since Gracie is stationary, she might just not have been visible from your viewpoint.

I literally ran around the entire plaza, though. I hadn't entered a building until I went to Molly's and I guess that may have fixed the error? X3

I can't imagine. I have heard that once you get Gracie, you can TT forward a day and then come back to today and get her again. It's a cheat that allows you to get all four checks in a row. So I think once she shows up on a Thursday, for example, she'll be there again, even though you reset. But where was she hiding when you went to the plaza the first time??
