Scaredy Cat!

You know how it is: You're playing Animal Crossing at night in the summer, running around your town, minding your own business... When suddenly, something scurrying around beside your mayor catches your eye. Your heart fills with fear. You all know what I'm talking about: tarantulas and scorpions.

Anytime this happens to me, my stomach seriously does flips. AND I DON'T KNOW WHY! Why do they scare me so much? When summer first began, I was scared because I wanted to catch the little buggers for my museum, but now that I have, why do I still let them freak me out? I can seriously just run away. And even if they do chase me, I don't lose anything for getting caught. I just wake up outside my house and continue on playing. I guess it's just gaming mentality.

Do the tarantulas and scorpions give you the creeps too? Why?

Well, I have a rational fear of spiders. I know that they are pixelated but they still do scare me. I'm fine with scorpions.

I also get scared, but it's probably because I still don't have them in my museum and the pressure to catch them is mounting. But because it's so scary/nerve wracking, I pretty much always miss?

They both bother me.
I'm also bothered by mosquitoes. I hate the buzzing and I just take the bite because I've lost the will to run from them zzz.

But you know what strikes the most fear into me? What bothers me the most?

I HATE those. My stomach turns every time I dive and my character holds it up so proudly, as if to say "HEY MAMA LOOK WHAT I BROUGHT HOME" and all I can do is stare helplessly and think "pls no"

I feel the same! In real life, spiders do freak me out a bit, no matter how tiny they can be. I've met a couple of tarantulas as well (at school), but for some reason they don't freak me out as much as spiders. And although I've never seen a scorpion in real life, they still freak me out when I see them on TV shows and such, and Animal Crossing is no different! I always assumed it was because they'll appear out of nowhere so suddenly, and the noises they make just give me the creeps.

I just jump when I see them in my town because my town has so many flowers!
I don't expect them!
But when they come on my path like "Aye wussup mama" my heart races and I freak out.
Idk why, I have them in my museum, I definitely don't need the coins either.

I don't think it's the actual sight of them that scares me, it's the creepy scuttling sound that they make when they're wandering around. Wow I hate that noise. I actually have no problem when it comes to catching them though, the little angry noises they make as you approach them with the net is a lot funnier to me ^-^
