I took a long break from ACNL and I am scared to log back in and see that someone moved out.

I mean if they did I can move them back in but I'm scared Coach will have moved out because I adopted him from my best friend and I love that he always talks about his former town.

Like I'm really curious about it and I'm really wanting to log in and play but I'm so terrified of what I'm going to see. I just hope nobody has moved out.

Does anyone else go through this when they take a break from playing?

I hate to say that it's literally worrying me and stressing me out because it's a video game but it's freaking stressing me out lol

I go through this too – I've taken long breaks and been so afraid to come back for fear that a favourite or dreamie has moved out.

I think with the WA update, if it's been a certain amount of time since the last time the game has been played, nobody will have moved out? I'm not 100% sure about this though.

There have been times when something happened to my clock, or i've taken a break and have gotten stressed and worried to start it up as we get attached to the villagers and when they move it's sad (unless you hate them, in which case you celebrate).

Best of luck!

I as well worry about this somtimes when i take a long break. Especially with fear some villager moved into a very bad spot and ruined bush paths/hybrids.

Did you stop playing before the WA update by chance?
No, I've played since then. My break has been the last couple months. I decreased my play time with it to just checking it on it every week or so then it just stopped. I can't remember anyone wanting to move out but I'd be really upset if some of my non-scan-ins have moved out. I don't want to go through the cycle to get them back. I'm just going to put my big girl pants on do it!

Thank you! I think i'm just going to have to suck it up and get on and see who's there. I don't think anyone was even talking about moving out, so I might be safe but I've lost some due to taking breaks. And you're right we do get attached so it is kinda stressful.

Also thank goodness I had beautiful town ordiance enacted so the weed growth will be minimal lol

oh gosh i would be upset if someone screwed up my tulips and carnations lol

Not a concern. I keep track of when each town is played and tell Isabelle to start on the following day. Well, that works as long as you don't mind having towns scattered throughout the year.

How about you go in as a new file? maybe that would help?Like plot resetting

Whenever that happens, I just go through my activity log and check the last time I played then load the game from there little by little.

yeah nobody should be gone if you change the time to the last time you played. just have caution as you tt to today and make sure nobody wants to move out while you do so

I like change, so whenever I return from a long break, I'm usually scared of having bed hair!

I like that the game is in real time, because it means that even when I can't play, life still goes on in my town. I'm usually excited to see any evidence of things that happened while I was gone.

I was scared too but now since I have purchased 9/10 of my villagers amiibo cards I feel much better, I only need to check in on Julian :) thank god lol
