The reason why i havent been playing recently is i didnt charge my ds... i havent played for a few days (thanks Pirate101) anyway if any of my villagers leave (especially julian) i want to reset...i never got to experience the opening cutscene... and i would need lots of help transferring my bells from my town now (New york) to my new town (Possibly Nilbog or Zootopia) so what should i do. i am a sticky situation and between a rock and a hard place

To add to Kaleidoscopes' suggestion, you can go to your activity log, and see when you last played and reset your DS back to that day and time. I do it all the time (I now write down the time & date in "Game Notes" every time I turn off my DS because my date & time are set a year behind on both my towns)

Don't be scared! Everything will be just fine! : )

oh ok haha thanks

Like someone said, go to your Activity log and check when you started AC the last time. Then TT day by day to our date.

I just do what others said.
I set the time back to the last day I played if I'm worried about losing any villagers.
You can do that either through your DS or in the game.
I've done both ways and both work just fine for me.
I don't really like changing the time or date on my system so I prefer doing it in the game.

And if you want it to be back on the proper time, just Save and Quit and move it forward one day, go talk to one villager a bunch of times to make sure no one wants to move and repeat until you get to the right date.
It's good to have like one villager you go talk to (10-12 times) to see if they say anything about someone wanting to move out.
Then you can go tell them NO YOU ARE STAYING. Or let them leave if they happen to be one you want to leave.

If any of your villagers have left, you can just find them on the Villager Trading Plaza on TBT, rather than resetting. Remember that Animal Crossing is really just a game, and it's not the end of the world if a villager has left.

I'll probably start doing that now, thanks! ^^

You can go to your activity log and see when was the last time you played AC then reset your rd time back to the time where you last played then start the game again. No one will move out if founding this because I've been doing this a lot of times whenever I take a break from the game.
