Saw this neat trick on Reddit today, and I thought i would share it here! Useful for storing DIYs

Thank you so much for this! I was actually trying to deal with problem right now.

This is actually a pretty neat trick, thank you so much for posting this! This will help me store all my important seasonal/celeste DIY's, so that I don't accidentally yeet them if I go on a cleaning rampage (I have done this before, literally couldn't find my mush partition recipe after I did a big clearout ;-; ).

just wish had found out this trick before i had my storage character go on a learning spree xD

I love this! Definitely going to move the last of my rarer DIYs into the bin later. Lucky for me I already Marie Kondo’d all of the less impressive ones 😅

Oh I'm for sure going to use this trick now :> my basement has become a diy storage sigh

Ahhh, thanks so much for sharing. This sounds like a great idea for storing DIYs. I'm planning on keeping extras for selling for more tbt later on once I get more.

This is definitely a cool idea. I had to create another character for storage recently, and put 80% of my spare DIYs into that house. I may use the recycling bin for some extra storage now though. :)

Thanks for the link! I was actually wondering about the Recycling Bin storage limit. Now I don't have to do my own science on it.

Another similar tip is using the Recycle Bin and Party Play to store trees and such (I'm assuming that it works with flowers as well, but I haven't tried that). When in Party Play mode, you can have Player 1 scarf down Fruit/Eggs/etc., and then you assign Player 2 to be the leader. Then have Player 1 dig up the trees. Because Player 1 is the "secondary" player, all items they collect will poof and get put in the Recycle Bin. This is good if you're redecorating and have a lot of trees that you don't want to get rid of; you can store them in the Recycle Bin until you find a good place to plant them again.
