Would the classic villager display Sanrio furniture or wear Sanrio clothes? I want to change some of the furniture of my villager to Sanrio. However, I want to confirm if it is possible to do so before I waste hours to try the tricks.

Do you mean the animal villagers living in your town? Yes, they can have sanrio furniture in their house and wear the clothes as long as it is to their taste, of course.
I was visiting Stitches and he noticed my Pompompurin t-shirt and he told me he'd like to have furniture from that series, the cheeky thing.
