Say, does anybody know if people visiting other towns with a Sanrio RV can adopt said characters, or is it only available to the person who scanned the amiibo to their own town?

Only the owner of the amiibo cards can adopt the character - sorry!!

True. I'm pretty sure the Sanrio cards will be released in the US since it was shown in the direct, but I don't know why they're delaying the announcement.

So you can't adopt new villagers from other towns when they are moving. Dang, guess I'll have to save up and buy some cards.

This only applies to the Sanrio series, Zelda series, Splatoon series, and Monster Hunter villagers
I'm pretty sure you can adopt the regular villagers like usual

This is great news but also sad news if NA never gets the cards too Does anyone know if the UK cards are region locked? I know the Japanese ones aren't

Edit: Someone has told me they are in fact not region locked!
