Salem: Halloween Town Planning

For the outside area, I think having the Scarecrow PWP would look great there with a pumpkin patch? I've seen QR codes for pumpkin patches that look neat. Maybe surround it with fruit trees like apples to suit the season? Or maybe make a Halloween face-standee?

I also like the Costume Shop idea. You could implement all kinds of outfits. Maybe have each room in that house go into themes like Kids, Cute, Scary, etc. I'd make the basement for Adults with provocative outfits or scary ones haha.

Either way, good luck on it! I'd love to visit once it's done. :D

I actually do have a pumpkin patch already! I am going to be moving it to a different location though because it's near my cliff right now and I watch t have room for the scarecrow beside it. AND OMFG you and I think very much alike. I Am doing just that with the costume store, the basement is going to sexy stuff like the nurse, cop, maid etc and I'm gunna make 1-2 mannequins in "provacative" custom designs, like a shirtless muscly dude, and maybe an outfit that is no more than a bra and short skirt for a girl XD The main room is going to be halloween classics so like wolf man, Frankenstein, mummy etc. Attic is gunna be all the heroes I think so all the zap heroes in every color, and then a room for "kiddie" things like ballerinas, racecar driver, bear and other animals, and then a room with the nintendo things like mario's stuff, the link outfit and Samus's suit and peaches parasol and maybe put some of the decoration things in there too from nintendo (not sure cause that's not a lot of items to fill a room)

I am just bummed you can only have max 4 mannequins per person because I really would like to put some of the full outfits together or at LEAST get to have one in each room but no such luck. =[

Tom is finally moving out, though I am a bit sad. He was one of the OG villagers in this town and he's stuck around this long. I was thinking of letting Sly go when he asked but I'm letting him stick around a bit longer at least until I move out the three who are inhabiting the side I want to use... (Even though Stitches is there T_T) I know I am keeping everyone down on my bottom row besides Sly but I've kind of grown attached to all my villagers. I hate seeing them move away even when I want them too. I just have to remember to pick someone else out to get. Already had My beautiful Pietro move on a TT accident, and had to let Coco leave because she was plotted horribly. =[ Gotta find some more Halloweeny peeps for my town!

Ended up getting Tia to replace Tom, she's a cutie and I've never had an elephant before. =D I just need to change her out of the custom shirt from her last town into something different but I got her to plot perfectly on the second try! Woo hoo! Also found an ok space for my costume shop and I'm gunna try to do the pumpkin patch near it to one side, and then the maze below that, and then maybe the coffeeshop on the other side? I'll have to play around with it first and see what looks best =D

Also this is what I think I am going to be doing with my town. Move out those two villager left on the side there, get 2 new ones at the bottom. Get Brewster's next to my costume shop, put in the pumpkin patches (which will be fences with pumpkin QR's in them) put in a scarecrow by the patches maybe a spooky cut-out thing or two as well. The lines represent paths I want to put down (only on the top half) plant a BUTTLOAD of trees on the side by the maze and make my little candy witch house up at the top near the tracks

Also not on here I might do a little graveyard (maybe six "graves") near the witches house but I'm still unsure.

Oh wow, I love this idea!
I feel like you should do graves for each villager, that would add a cool twist and maybe they could be ghosts.
Sorry if you said something similar, I read it quickly.

Hmm, that would be interesting, but I'd need a pretty big area to fit ten graves. I'll see if I can work it out somewhere

*cries* So I found out you can only have ONE fence in your town, which is a big bummer. So I made my maze a bit bigger and I'm waiting for more PWP's from my villagers, I need to start forcing them probably because I want to unlock them all so I can play around with different ideas. I am thinking in my forest I'll do a log bench next to a stump so it looks like a cute little fallen tree :o I also have the top half of my town paved now, I am going to line it with bushes stumps and flowers and I've just barely started on the bushes since I spent a long time (and tbt) getting all the bushes for my bush maze. I also have a big room at my museum stuffed with TRICKS and TREATS! I have a ton of pitfalls, including a few tricky ones, and then things like beans, tweeters, glow wands, balloons and ice creams. So I can plant them all over the maze for people to find and throughout town in general. I also got TIFFANY into my town and moved Claudia out of the side. Now I just have to move out Stitches and get a 10th villager down at the bottom, and finish getting PWP's and landscaping and then my town will be perfeeeecccct!

I do love OTGW, so I fully support that idea, but a park would be fun too, or maybe even a "national park" with forest and trails and camping!

Got in a police station now too, got a lot of bushes and trees to make it more foresty on the top part of town, on the bottom I think I'll have have some bushes here and there to keep it from looking bare. Laid a ton of new paths, but I put some at the bottom and IDK if I just want to try to do a natural one by running over it a lot and then dot it with candies or what... I'll have to try both. Still want to try to get a dirt path through my maze. I should hire people to come stomp around. XD

Had to move out Sly because him and Wart Jr wouldn't stop asking to move :[[[ It's ok though because I got Genji and tried to plot him SO MANY TIMES until he went right near where Sly's plot was. So that's good. Hopefully though Stitches will finally ping me to move, gotta keep trying! Then I can get my finally spoopy-ish villager to put down at the bottom with the rest of them and be able to figure out the rest of my forest and stuff, still not sure if I want to do graves somewhere near the candy house or not...
