sahara is in my town she is asking for old carpets but none of my villigers hase an old carpet :S?

i asked all 10 of them and none of them got one and if you talk to them again you cant ask anymore

JUst buy one from Nook and give it to her also check the recycle bin and if your still stuck then give me your friend code and I will pop over with one

nook's carpets dont work and recycling bin doesnt work eather because she will say that they are new and lovely you have to get old carpets somehow but i dont know how

If your villagers aren't giving you any then I guess you won't be able to take part in the event. The only way that I know of is asking villagers.

Buy nooks carpet and put it down in your house and give her your old one

Sorry I couldn't be more help man I guess they have tightened things up a bit compared to the gamecube version
