I'm doing a side-by-side comparison right now, loading the same page.
Then you're either lying, or something's making your Safari run slower on your computer for some reason. Because Safari is definitely faster on my computer. You're running Mac OS 10.6 Snow Leopard, right?
Hey hey!
No need to accuse anyone of lying.

Everyone has different types of connections.
So let's play it nice.(:
This.

Tye doesn't seem to understand that every computer is different, and everyone's preferences are different.

I wasn't really accusing him, I'm just saying that it's a possibility that he's lying. But I doubt he is, so I'm wondering what's making Safari run slower on his computer than it does on mine.

Well, thank you Cpt. Obvious?
Everyone could be lying on TBT.
But there's no need to just put it out there. Ya know?(:

Kay let's just all be nice.:D

I did say "you're either lying, or something's making your Safari run slower on your computer for some reason." I know computers are different, which is why I posted both possibilities. >_>

Yeah, I guess it was uncalled for. Fabio just gets on my nerves, so I get a little snappy at him sometimes. I shouldn't be like that, though. Besides, awhile back, Fabio and I had agreed to leave each other alone. Well, it looks like that didn't work out for either of us. =p But it is my fault that I'm still being snappy at him, and I apologize for that. Sometimes I post without thinking things through, and that's my own fault.

Does it really matter what's making it run slower on his computer? It's not like him using Chrome which could possibly be slower than the Safari your using is going to effect your life in any way, shape or form.

No, it really doesn't matter, but he's going out of his way to try to prove me wrong, why shouldn't I be allowed to do the same? And I don't see you attack him, when he's doing the same thing I am.

You caught me, Tyeforce! I was lying the whole time! How did you know that I'd lie about that!? You're one hell of a regular Sherlock. Didn't think the lying about my browser speed would get me caught. How could I forget that you're always right? Foiled!

No one is attacking you Tye.

*throwsa knife out of tye's monitor stabbing him*

I didn't think you were lying in the first place. You may come across as extremely arrogant, but you're a pretty honest person. I said what I did because I got snappy, and I apologize for that. Either way, I wasn't really accusing you of lying, just stating a possibility.

Firefox is annoying, does anyone know how to fix the backspace thing. When i press backspace it goes back a page and i don't like it cause if i do a mistake i have to use the delete button insted. So does anyone know if you can change it?

Yeah. You download a better browser. That should fix it right up.

Um...what? It doesn't do that for me. If I'm in a text field (like I am right now as I'm typing this), the delete key (also known as "backspace" on non-Mac keyboards) works like normal, deleting text just fine. It only goes back a page if you press it while you're not in a text field.

Please reinstall your browser and see if the problem continues. If the problem still insists please contact support or look on some computer help site and see if somebody is willing to help you out!

I installed Safari 5 as Tye said it supposedly supposed to run faster on Windows. I tested out a few sites like apple.com, youtube.com, and some news sites and the loading times are very slow. It will load halfway, stop and continue to load.

The looks of Safari are not the greatest on Windows. The theme is very dark which is another thing I hate about it. But all the Safari's have had a dark theme. I'm pretty sure it can be changed on a Mac but I'm not sure if it can be done on a Windows. Also, YouTube doesn't run good on Safari as I see when typing this my video was halfway. IMO, I think Safari runs better on a Mac.

Inside of Safari. I dislike how you have to open up the News section and then click on the RSS Articles. I like how in Mozilla that you can just see the lastest headlines by just two clicks of a button! I'm not sure if this is added onto Safari but Safari doesn't show you your most visited sites. Something I have seen in a few browsers is that on the right side you can see your options menu but in IE and in FF it opens a window. This function in Safari and Google Chrome is much simpler if you want to do your private browsing.
