I know it can be annoying I am having problems not getting certain colours
and I have been breeding them for what feel like months

I would maybe sell them all but keep a certain type of flower and try breeding 1 type at a time till you get all the colours in that flower breed

I've got several. Only not Purple Hyacints, Purple Pansies, Purple Windflowers, Purple Tulip and yes that annoying blue rose. I would do anything to obtain those. I've got hundreds of DIY on my beach. If someone brought me some of these hybrids they can take all the DIY they want. Please let me know if you can help me!
I had my appointment today with my therapist. He said to leave the breeding hybrids alone and continue to beautify and cutetify your town. He said i can't be the best in everything and that there are lots of other colors i can work with. Still i love those purple flowers and especially that blue rose. It's quite late now so i'm going to bed. Thanks for your support everyone.
Flower breeding is a pain. It took me ages to get purple hyacinths and now I have plenty. I'm currently trying to get blue roses and I've gotten to the red hybrids that breed blue but actually getting the blues is an extremely low percentage so I just keep watering. What hybrids are you trying to get? I'm happy to give you some of mine if I have what you want.
Yea i lost control. I thought my changes were bigger if i left room to spawn flowers. But i didn't get the hybrids i wanted but was left with my island full of unwanted flowers and had a little breakdown yesterday. Feeling much better today thank you everyone!

So glad I can help! Once I bring the flowers you want, you should place them like this:

O = Flower
X = Empty space (anything as long as it's not another flower and you have at least one square of grass or dirt next to the flower)
Then, you can water them every day and after a while (doesn't take that long), they will duplicate! This way you can have as many as you want
