Sad Birthday

How come on my birthday none of the villagers told me happy birthday? My birthday is March 25th which is also the same birthday as Billy, and when I went to his house they were celebrating his birthday and he even asked for a gift from me but no one said anything about my birthday. I tried talking to them before and after the party and I got no party, no happy birthday's, nothing. And then today the day after when I spoke to them they wished me a happy late birthday and just said sorry I forgot What happened? I talk to them every day

Happy birthday! Mine was yesterday, too. I'm sorry that happened, mine went pretty standard to previous games. To be fair I accidentally time traveled to it a day early, but one of my starter's pulled me to their house and I can't say I talked to her much prior. I worry you might be onto something with sharing it with a villager.

Wolfgang mentioned my birthday a day late, too, so that might be a built in thing.

My birthday was the 21st of March and I'm pretty sure my (two) villagers wished me a happy birthday.

I didn't get any sort of celebration since we were still in tents at that point.

Thankfully(?), it doesn't seem to be this. A friend just loaded in for their birthday today and Isabelle wished both them and Biff a happy birthday during the announcements. Friend also went right into their birthday party, and while they haven't stopped by Biff's yet, I imagine he'll have a party too given the game acknowledged it.

OP, I'm super sorry though. Birthdays in New Leaf made me so overwhelmingly emotional, so I know it has to be hard to lose it. In the name of Animal Crossing Science, would you be willing to tell us what state your town was in when it happened? Like how many villagers, anyone in tents, anything being built, etc.? Not sure if any of that would matter, but it's the best idea I've got.

i made a new character on the characters birthday and there was no celebration and i thought that was super wack as well

It would be a cool feature to have a special thing happen atleast some commentary about how you and billie share a b day!!!

I shared a birthday with Bones and I got a birthday party and everything still. He also had his own party in his house too. You can share a bday with a villager and it all works fine. However, if you time travel again to that date, you don’t get the birthday party a second time

have you checked if you accidentally entered the wrong birthday on your game? possible of a slip up while entering stuff on this game

I don't think it has to do with friendship level because I created a new character and set their birthday to the next day then talked to 3 villagers only once and the next day they got a birthday party with those 3 villagers being present. I then timetravelled forward a few days then back again to before their birthday expecting for another birthday party but there was none. I'm wondering if someone timetravels to some time ahead of their birthday and then timetravels back to present day, when your birthday naturally comes around do you not get a party?

I started the game a few days before my birthday, and they said nothing to me.

Pissed me off because they had no problem going on about one of their up and coming birthdays on the message board, and constantly bringing it up, days before the event, yet it was my actual birthday and they said nothing.
