Does anyone know where to find the Inugami Gyoubu monster, it is the tanooki with the pink flames? I was wanting to befriend one but I can’t find it. I know the beastary mentioned that it is in the forest of endings and the sky’s of Azuma but I still can’t find it, I was wondering if anyone has a more exact location. Thanks

Sorry I couldn't help, but I just wanted to say this is the biggest comeback for a game series I've seen in a long, long time.
Going from Rune Factory 5, literally the worst mainline game, to Guardians of Azuma, one of the best in the series (from what I've played), is astounding.
The feudal/Edo (I always get the two mixed up) Japanese aesthetic is such a good choice, and the cel-shaded art is so pretty to look at. The characters are awesome, too.
Definitely one of my favourite games to come out this year, alongside Fantasy Life (the 3DS one is still better though, in my opinion - but maybe that's just nostalgia) and Monster Hunter Wilds.

I agree. I tried RF 5 and just couldn't advance, found it almost unplayable but Guardians of Azuma was, in my opinion, nearly perfect. I know some folks complain that it's not challenging enough but for me, the combat in balanced mode was plenty difficult. The art, music, combat, farming, etc. were all so enjoyable. I'm not big into romance but the characters were well written and charming. I really hope RF 6 is similar to GoA.

I have Fantasy Life I and couldn't get into it. I wanted to but then I chose a crafting life and the crafting mini game made me want to scream. So I set it aside. I might delete the save data, redownload it to my Switch 2 and try it again, avoiding crafting lives and just going for combat lives and gathering.

Yeah, crafting lives suck in Fantasy Life's new release. They're too grindy (and that's coming from an OSRS fanboy). The combat lives are basically perfect in this one, though. But with the Mage life, I wish they kept the different elemental spells you could use in Fantasy Life 3DS. They were always super fun to utilise. I guess they kind of did keep them? Maybe? But it's not as fleshed-out as it was in 3DS.
