Pokémon Rumors of Kalos Sequels

quit ranting and you probably don't even have the evidence that's why you're gonna post it another day to find some clues lol just admit y o u don't have evidence and just say I think there is going to be a sequel but I don't have evidence

At this point I'm not ranting. But no, I won't admit I don't have anything, because I do. Give me some time and you'll see what I come up with.

Y'all got really excited over this itty-bitty question.
So let's take it away from the arguing.

If Kalos were to receive a direct sequel in the fashion of B2 and W2, would you play it or pass on it?

It's the most logical because Yellow is different from Red/Blue/Green as well as FR and LG. So if Ninty ever remade it, they could technically say that they've never remade Yellow. Keep in mind we're dealing with Nintendo here, the people who somehow fumbled EarthBound and knocked Super Mario 64 out of the park..
I still don't follow your logic. I don't see why it would be the most logical to remake Yellow of all things. Saying "it's different" doesn't change the fact that it's another Kanto game following the same Kanto story, with some very minor differences. If they were to use Yellow content, they would have done so in FR/LG. They did this with Crystal and Emerald in HG/SS and OR/AS, respectively.

And yeah sure, I'll admit Nintendo has made some weird decisions, but Game Freak is still in control of the Pokemon games. And Game Freak isn't even owned by Nintendo.

Uh, Pokemon Z.
I think I have a case of "version-exclusive cash-cow" sequelitis.

I am one of the most successful gaming journalists in recent history. (I've written for Kotaku and Polygon) I predicted the 3DS. I predicted ORAS two years before XY, right down to the change in Mauville. I predicted Mario Kart 8's antigravity feature. I understand that Yellow might not be understandable to people who have lives (i.e. not me) but it will happen in the next ten years, most likely on the 3DS if Nintendo were to do another 3DS Pokemon game. Take my word for it.

Yeah I was gonna say "If ur a professional gaming journalist, the hell are you doing here?" until I read all of the post lmao

As much as I'd like to say no, I'd still give them my money. Playing it is a different story.

I wouldn't even joke about writing for Kotaku...I fear that people might actually believe me and my name would end up forever besmirched.

Polygon isn't any better. They're both SJW-infested crapholes that complain about the dumbest things.
I think that may also be why he made it an obvious joke post.

Actually no, it wasn't a joke. I'd link to a few of my writings but I'm being more careful about putting my identity online (they have the author's name, you see, and I got hacked a few months back). While you may argue that Kotaku and Polygon are absolutely awful, I can only sit back and smirk at your alternatives.

Anyway, back to point. Nintendo could always do a Pokemon Generations game with multiple regions and teams.

Opinion pieces for the two or actual pieces?

Is that last line even serious, Game Freak wouldn't even have the sense to do something like that.

A pokemon game with all regions would be super crazy. Anyone else think a game based on all of the anime episodes and movies at least until DPP would be awesome (and unlikely?)?

Don't forget we still have volcanion and Z's floette to work out.

>actually being baited

Come on, Tom.

Don't forget we still have volcanion and Z's floette to work out.
What is there to work out about AZ's Floette?
It died during the Kalos War which was started by AZ's brother, AZ built a machine to revive it, which killed thousands of Pokemon, ended the war and made AZ immortal. Floette was mad about him using the lives of Pokemon like that and left him. AZ then goes on a journey to learn what it is to be a trainer, fights you because he thinks that's the way, and then Floette returns to him after seeing his change of heart.
I think the story has been sufficiently explained in that regard.

Not sure what to say about Volcanion, as all we know about it is that it can destroy mountains and has a giant donut on its back.

The story of Z will not change much, seeing as Lysandre never really cared about the legendary Pokemon's powers in the first place. Xerneas gives life? That's good enough, I'll power the machine that will kill off everything in the world with that.
The most I can theorize will change is that he uses both Xerneas and Yveltal, and with the impending death of what is basically the entire world (in the pursuit of fashion...), Zygarde pops out to protect the ecosystem.
I'd forgotten how dumb the 6th Gen story is.

Your identity is already online... it's in your signature.

Unless your name isn't "Michael Archer".

All regions? Of course.
Anime? No.
