Rumor?

Ok, so I have heard from a good friend of mine that there has been a rumor floating around about a Bioshock movie. And anyone that has a 360 has played, or at least should since its one of THE best games, this amazing game. It has one of the best stories of any video I have played in a long time.

Has anyone else heard of this rumor floating around? And do you think it is possible?

I sure as heck want it to come out! What about you guys?

also part of what made Bioshock's story so great for me was listening to the background of people who used to live there, it added to the eeriness of it, im not sure a movie could pull of the intenseness of some parts, and the story of some others, but if it could, im all for it.

I think it could be very awesome, but then again I think part of what made the game so great is that it made you a part of that world. You did stuff because of your gamer instincts and in the end turns out it was what the character was made to do

I wonder if in the movie he will finish the boss off with the wrench...

Theres been tons of confirmations that it's going to happen (see Gengy's post) but the problem is, are they going to stick with it. Because there's been tons of confirmations of a Zelda and Metroid movie for years now and we have yet to see anything.

I could see them doing the good path for theatres, and the bad path as an alternate ending for like a DvD extra.

In theatres, its impossible to do both paths, because it completely changes the ending of the game (movie in this case)

You either save all the little sisters, or you kill 1 or more.

That determines if you get the good or bad ending.

From that criteria you could assume what happens in each ending pretty much xD
