I see the laser coming, and knowing I wouldn't have enough time to run I jump in front instead, taking most of the hit and leaving only little bits for Yuki to get hit by, and it knocks me to the ground.

"Thanks." I say, pulling myself up weakly. I summon a hailstorm that melts in the heat, making it rain over us, washing the blood away.
