Now able to breathe, I wake up while Tira is dragging me, coughing. "Tira?" Uh... What's going on?

"You are awake?! Tira will knock you out again if you try anything like before!" I stop dragging her. "Don't you DARE insult Penny's death to Tira again, or Tira will kill you next time."

 

[TheCreeperHugz]

"W-what?" I ask, more than a little intimidated by Tira. "What did I- Wait... Penny is... dead..?" I trail off towards the end.

 

[CommanderLeahShepard]

"Tira said DON'T remind her! Are you trying to p*ss Tira off?!'

 

[TheCreeperHugz]

"I... uh..." I back a few feet away. Penny can't be dead. She just can't be.... Can she..?

 

[CommanderLeahShepard]

I cross my arms, not sure what to say.

"How... How did she die?" I ask quietly, then immediately regret it.

I grab her by the shirt. "Shut. Up."

Urgh, they're so ****ing noisy... "Could you please be less insane and happy all the time? It's annoying as ****. Just think of something depressing, pretend your best friend just died or something, and shut the **** up with the yelling?"

"Okay..." I look down, and from the corner of my eye I spot the marks on my arms from when Rae was digging her nails into them. "T-Tira, did you do this..?" I ask quietly.

I look at her arms. "No, Tira didn't do that."

"Oh..." Then what happened..?

"So... Anything you want to talk to Tira about?" I ask.

I stay silent for a while before speaking. "I've wondered for a while... How come you always say 'Tira' instead of 'I'?"

 

[CommanderLeahShepard]

This again? "Tira always says Tira, because Tira is Tira."

"But... Is that not confusing? I'd get confused if I referred to myself as Ava rather than using I or me..."

"But... Tira is," I point to myself, "Tira... Always got told she talked weird in school. That's probably another reason she didn't have any friends."
