Royal Wedding

How much money are they making UK taxpayers pay to do it?

I think the family payed for it themselves in the end, the state only payed for the security, or something like that.

@Psycho: Thats not how it works over there any more :/

And how much was the security? ?32million I believe... That's about $53million

My mom recorded the wedding since she thought it was pretty crazy to get up at 1:00 AM just to watch someone get married. We just finished watching it (we fast forwarded through most of the boring parts), and I have to say, even though I didn't want to watch it, I actually enjoyed it. Very beautiful wedding.

According to someone that i talked with,
It's because Kate was nervous, and the blood would swell into the fingers and stuff..
I don't know. something with having to be nervous ;s.
But me and my mom kinda laughed.

My opinion? 'Good for you guys. Now can I watch the news please?'

But the dress was pretty on her. On anybody else it would've looked terrible.

Eh I do rather hate wedding coverages. I mean isn't it supposed to be an intimate occasion for you the one you love and your families and friends? Not some media hullabaloo that just gets exploited and milked for ratings? I feel like modern culture cares way to much about celebrities personal lives. I honestly almost never want to be that successful to avoid people prying in where they shouldn't. It would drive me to the brink of murdering anyone I saw around with a camera after a while.

I didn't end up watching it really :/ course I don't actually have cable currently either lol

The queen wore yellow but she WORKED IT.

I know right?
She was sssssmokin'!

At first I was excited about the wedding, but after around a months worth of TV programs about it I'm slighly sick of it. The only good thing is that I have a day off from my exams.

Actually I quite enjoyed it, my above comment was a bit biased since I'm not very familiar with weddings, royal or not. Me and my family had a party, well I say party it was really just my cousins coming round for lunch and dinner. The only annoying thing, I was halfway through one of my Harry Potter DVDs and completely forgot about it, which caused my Dad to have a rant about electricity bills. But apart from that it was a good day.
