Roxie's Art Thread!

Welcome to Roxie's art thread! I decided (after mulling it over for weeks) to start my own art thread here, since the community here is really nice and all :3! It would also be neat to see how far I've come through my postings here.

I do traditional art and have also recently started pixel art, I use pixilart.com for my pixel art, since the UI on the site is easy for me to understand.

Advice/tips are greatly appreciated!!

I'll start my thread with pixel art of Dizzy I made, he's one of my favourite villagers and my favourite resident in my City Folk town! (230x230, upscaled to 460x460 resolution upon saving)

Secret Santa gift I made for @/-Mars- for the Secret Santa Art Exchange event! This was super fun to draw since both of the characters are frogs!! (Almost feels like I was given these on purpose, since I draw frogs a lot-) The classroom one is also the first time I tried out sketching the drawing on paper, then tracing from the image, big success! The second is a 80x80 pixel headshot, I would've preferred making a fullbody but ran out of time rip-

Art I made for a friend of mine, it's part of an art exchange we're doing, and I drew a furry/fox version of her OC! It was SO SO fun making the little doodles outside the circle!! Funnily enough I screwed up while drawing this at some point and made her look like a raccoon, I think some of its remains can still be seen in the shadow on her face LOL- I'm super proud of this honestly, I completed it in only 3-ish hours.

(I had to get in ONE LAST drawing before 2026, heh.)

Man, I wasn't actually planning on posting for a while since I don't anticipate I'd draw much this month but... I got these clay packets and decided to make my OC Orange Babie from them.... He looks so hilariously creepy and has that zombie stare... I wheezed and decided to upload him to my thread, I'm still laughing right now!

A headshot drawing of my OC Pico! (Hence why the Pico in my username!) I wanted to test out making humans in pixel/digital art and I struggle with the head a lot... I'd say this is a success! I like the way the shine came out on her claws (she's a half dragon!), to me it sorta looks like a gummy candy!

Headshot drawing of one of my most favourite villagers Tangy! She's literally my favourite colors (green and orange) and a cat?? Like yes! Also the idea of fusing a cat and orange is genius.... (Hence why I sorta stole- AHEM, borrowed the idea for one of my OC's, Orange Babie... ) I changed the shape/design of her leaf quite a bit to suit her mischievious expression ^^

I thought it'd be funny if I make a joke ID card/passport for myself (or more so my fursona?) I sadly had to cut most of the borders to make it fit in my wallet because I miscalculated how it would fit lol. I can't wait to flex it as a joke on some poor confused soul >:3!!

I love seeing yours too! It has a distinct comic style (which I'm guessing might be inspired from your Dog Man passion?) which is quite nostalgic since I grew up reading books like Diary of a Wimpy kid and Horrid Henry
