I'd choose Rosie because she appeals to me a bit more because of animal crossing the movie. She was so cute in the adaption, and the whole movie was overall. I was trying to make a town based on the movie in one of my wild world towns , but I was failing because Champ isn't in wild world, and it's a shame he isn't in new leaf either otherwise I would've had him in my town. Anyway apart from that another reason why i'd choose her over Lolly, (although Lolly is cute and I like how realistic she is) I'd still choose her Rosie over Lolly because Rosie's a peppy and peppy's are my favourite personality type in game.

I prefer Rosie. I've had them both, I let Rosie move because she didn't fit my town so well. Lolly got boring after a while, even though she's so adorable...

Rosie for me. I'm not crazy about either to be honest but she is the more interesting in my opinion. I love normal villagers generally but I had Lolly before just to try her out and I wasn't very taken really. Normals aren't the most exciting I know but for some reason I found her much more dull than other normals I didn't have her long and then had a pain to get her to move out, so that also makes me feel negatively about her now. I'm not crazy about peppy villager either, but I had Rosie for several months and she was very cute. I love her big goggly eyes and she's a lovely colouring. One of the few peppy villagers I do actually like

I picked Rosie! She's much more energetic, and even if I'm not fond of peppy types, I'd still pick Rosie over Lolly with a dead boring personality.

I love lolly's paler colors and she likes to read, rosie is peppy and full of spirit but I'm more of a quiet person myself sooo I guess you could say lolly to me is more relatable, also her phrase ah cutest "bonbon" <3
