I have both in my town c: For me I'd say it is based on personality as Rosie is a peppy and Mitzi is a normal. So maybe look at whether you have that personality already in your town then go for the other one? Personally I'd say Mitzi but that's partly because she was my starter in Wild World so she's an old favourite <:

Definitely Mitzi for me.

I've had them both. Mitzi was always a nice, cute, solid villager. When I fiiiinally got Rosie, I was pretty disappointed after all the hype for her on the forums.

Mitzi was one of my starters on my first save file of animal crossing gamecube. I've never had her since, nor have I ever had Rosie. But Mitzi will always have a small place in my heart, because she was part of my childhood. c:

I like Rosie better, I did have her in my town until today she sadly was moving without me even knowing and she was one of my dreamies, and now I have to cycle 16 villagers to get her back, which will be hard because most of the other villagers in my town I am planning on keeping and don't want to accidentally void them, but definitely going to let Velma move.

They are both super cute. I voted for Rosie only because she's a villager I've had in New Leaf, and a villager I've had in Population Growing (never realized it until I booted up my game a couple months ago). I would really like to have Mitzi someday though.
