So I had to make a new island due to my switch breaking months ago. I decided to make a horror town and am struggling to think of one of my room themes. My rooms will be a living room, kitchen, bathroom, basement will be the tools and freezers(basically where the horror happens, and top floor will be bedroom. I have no idea what to make my last room and feel library’s are over played.. any ideas??
I'm not sure if this would fully fit in but since I first came across Barolds interior I've always thought it was quite creepy with all the surveillance things so you could doing something similar in the last room and have it as a way for your character to keep an eye on what is going on round the island. The wallpaper is from Sahara though so might not be easy to get hold of if you don't already have it as I often find she never gives me the things I want.
Another idea I sometimes see people use is to theme one of their rooms around a garden/outside area, not fully sure which wallpaper/flooring would work best for this but you could go for some of the forest types ones (again think most of these are probably from Sahara though) and made use some of the halloween furniture, craft some of the headstone style DIYs or a haunted statue for decoration, though this could also work outside the house well.
Most of my houses (I have 5 so far) have a theme of some sort, and the creepy one is one of my favorites; I had a lot of fun setting it up and I love how it came out. Good luck with your creepy town!
