"...There isn't, Cepheus. There's nothing you or me can do about it." I tell him, biting my lip.

 

[Naiad]

"No, there is. There's always something. Tell me."

 

[nard]

I look away. "I have nothing to tell anyone..."

 

[Naiad]

".. Yes, you do." I sit up. "If there's something I can do, I need to know."

 

[nard]

My bottom lip quivers and I swallow. "Believe me, there's nothing to say, Ceph."

 

[Naiad]

I bring my face closer to his. "Tell. Me."

 

[nard]

I shake and my eyes well up with tears.



"I-I can't... tell you..." I barely whisper the last words.

[Naiad]

My eyes widen. ".. Whoa."

I reach up and touch his face.
"... Hey, I didn't mean to push you like that." I smile weakly. "Sorry."

 

[nard]

"It's okay..." I go back over to my bed and get under the blanket, covering my head with the pillow.

 

[Naiad]

"Amos...." I watch him hesitantly.

 

[nard]

"Sorry, Amos isn't here. He's in Pillowtown..." I muffle under the pillow.

[Naiad]

I sit down on the edge of his bed. "... C'mon, Amos."

 

[nard]

"Sorry, Amos is currently in a Pillowtown Inn room. Come back again..."

 

[Naiad]

I sigh. "Don't make me do this, Amos."

 

[nard]

"He doesn't feel like coming out of his room right now..."

 

[Naiad]

"... Forgive me."

I slip under the blankets and headbutt his chest softly. "He needs to come out now."

 

[nard]

I curl up and blush ever so slightly at his touch. I pull the pillow tighter on my face to hide it.


"...Amos doesn't know what to do..."

 

[Naiad]

"Why not..?" I ask quietly.

 

[nard]

"You remind me of my sister, Ceph..." Tears soak into the pillow and I smile a bit.

 

[Naiad]

"Is that so..?" I bite my lip. "What was she like?"
