[Naiad]

"Ah... He fell asleep..."

I set Mark down on the bed before lying down next to him. "Night, I guess..."

I close my eyes and drift off, my arms around Mark once again.

[Hikari]

I open my eyes, and feel something touching me. I look over and see Ceph.

I guess he fell asleep, too.

I poke Ceph. "Hey, Ceph, wake up."

 

[Naiad]

"Mmm..?"

I open my eyes slowly, still half asleep. "Mark..?" I stifle a yawn.

 

[Hikari]

"Yeah, it's Mark... can you let go of me, please?" I ask Ceph, since he still hadn't removed his arms from me.

 

[Naiad]

"Hmm? Ah, oh yeah, sure..." I release Mark from my arms.

I yawn. "What time is it..?"

 

[Hikari]

"Uh..." I look at the digital clock near my bed.

"...1:10 P.M."

 

[Naiad]

"... Damn.." I sit up and run my hand through my hair.

[Hikari]

"...Heh, guess I forgot to set my alarm... Sorry if I made you late for anything, Ceph." I apolgize.

 

[Naiad]

I shake my head. "No, it's fine. I just can't believe we slept that long..."

 

[Hikari]

"...Well...we did have a rough day."

 

[Naiad]

".. Yeah."

I glance at him. "How are you feeling?"

 

[Hikari]

"...Better... I guess. How about you?"

 

[Naiad]

I shrug. "... I just don't know if I should talk to him..."

 

[Hikari]

"...I think you should. He might be feeling just as bad as you were."

 

[Naiad]

I smile weakly. "And if he isn't?"

 

[Hikari]

"...Let's not worry about the 'What If's'. Just talk to him."

 

[nard]

My eyes open as slow as snails and I yawn. I should take a bath and relax... I'm still tired and won't be able to go back to sleep again. I rise off of the bed and go towards the bathroom with a bit of a slump.

I turn the handle ( w/e the hell it's called ) and the tub starts filling with water. As it does, I strip ( agh ) my clothes off and step into the bathtub.

When it's filled I take my hearing aid out and put it to the side. I sigh of relief. The hot water feels nice...

I nod slowly. "Yeah, thanks..."
