[Naiad]

I stay silent, my thoughts still processing.

"We don't have much time... please, pick the right choice before I... go back..."

 

[Beary]

"Ohgodohgodohgod.." I shrink closer to Ans..

"Is that the boy you're dating?"

"I AM NOT DATING HIM, IDIOT!"

"I seriously doubt that Sage will go in there and come out alive..." I say.

 

[Myst]

"Sai, I need you... I can't live without you... please... help me... maybe we can..." I start to collapse to the ground, an instant replay of my death, except slower this time, "kill the beast this time..."

 

[Naiad]

I turn to Sage, "Sage, what do you want? It's your life and your powers."

 

[Myst]

My eyes start to roll backward until I'm no longer me.

"What a show! You really are stubborn, aren't you? The choice is easy. Just "do the right thing." It's better this way." I smirk knowingly.

 

[Naiad]

I grab my head as Orion collapses, "STOP!!! How the hell do you want me to kill it?!"

 

[Myst]

"I still don't think that's Orion." I say, sticking to my metaphorical guns and drawing my real ones cautiously.

"Well, I'll just take Sage and Orion if you can't make up your mind. Foolish children you are... Prepared to see an instant replay of his death, Sai?" I wink at her.

I turn to the Sage/demon combination. "Why do you need her body in order to take her ability? If you want it, why not take it right now?"

 

[Naiad]

I back up behind Helix and whisper into his ear, "Sorry. Just— just let me stay like this for a bit."

I peek at the Demon, "What do you want us to do?"

 

[Myst]

I mutter, "I can't take her ability here. I must go back to my palace."

I whisper to Sai, "Let him take Sage... We can follow him..."

 

[Naiad]

I turn to Helix. "What should we do?" I whisper, my voice soft. I feel like crying again.

[Myst]

(I'm not too confident writing for Orion. How am I doing?)

 

[Naiad]

"Oh, so you've got a body of your own?" I say. "So you want to take Sage's mind-reading... just so she doesn't catch up to you in terms of skill? You're just absorbing her ability? That's sick, man. Stop me if I'm wrong."

My anger flares up as I yell, "I. Am. The. King. Of. Those. Monsters. If you must know, I caused this whole mess in the first place. I'm the reason the world fell apart. I'm the reason friends died and families were separated. It is all my doing. I have way more power than that weakling. I don't need her." I add smugly, "Even if you did find my body, there is no way mortals like you can ever dare to defeat me."
