I flip through the pages, looking for something like "possession" that could help. But under "P", I find something about a parasite that can burrow into the ears of humans. The common name is a "nightmare earwhig". It enters hosts in their sleep, sometimes keeping a single host for years, coming back every so often as the human rests. It will leave once the host is unable to maintain consciousness, through fatigue or otherwise.

I need to tell the others before this gets out of hand. "Guys! We can kill it without hurting Sage! Much!"
