[Roleplay] The Aftermath

[Beary]

I curl up into a ball next to an ugly store counter and wait for something horrible to happen.
No, I'm not being optimistic.

I bump into some girl with a bottle of water hanging out of her bag. Great, I'm parched. I bump into her, taking the water bottle and stuffing it inside my sweatshirt. "Watch where you're going." she says. "I was!" I yell back as I continue running.

 

[Jawile]

I whisper a Helixian prayer, and put on Brass Knuckles.
"Take this, beast of Dome!" I yell, and start punching the snake.

 

[Naiad]

I kneel down next to Jade and begin comforting her, "Everything is going to be alright. Just breathe."

With no options left, I hid behind a dumpster in an army crawl position in an alley way.

 

[nard]

I reach where we were, and see Ans Ra. "Ans! Over here!" I jump and wave my hands, hopefully grabbing his attention!

 

[Myst]

Damnit... I curse under my breath... I run after the thief. I quickly catch up to him and hold my sword to his throat. I demand, "Give me my water bottle."

 

[toxapex]

I emerge in a huge curtain of smoke. I bump into somebody, who quickly apologizes. Then I hear someone muttering something... I think I caught my name in there. Huh.

 

[Beary]

I make a grunting noise, showing how I am not reassured.

 

[Jawile]

The snake hits me against a wall with its tail, when I hear my name. "Hey, hey!" I run to the sound.

 

[nard]

"Hey, where's Ethan?!" I look and see him behind a dumpster. "ETHAN! Hurry and get over here! The beast is getting closer!"

 

[toxapex]

I turn around and find a sword to my throat. It's the girl. She wants her water bottle back, so I give it to her. Empty, of course. I throw it in the air and run into the smoke as she catches it.

 

[FireNinja1]

"Oh, hey," I mutter. "So we're absolutely screwed, what do we do now?"

 

[Naiad]

I stand up as I hear Orion yell. "Jade, c'mon." I hold my hand out to her.

 

[Beary]

I take her hand, and stand up.

 

[Myst]

I grab back my water bottle from the thief. What an ass... I need to find the others. Looking around, I realize I'm in a part of the city I've never been before... I decide to follow the thief and soon, I see the fire. I catch up to the others to see them fighting the monster.

 

[FireNinja1]

"No, it's okay! He'll never find me here!"

 

[nard]

I start to panic. The monster is almost on us. "Y-You'll be crushed to bits!" The beast whacks me with his tail, just like Ans, and I go flying into the city.
