[Roleplay] The Aftermath

[Naiad]

I pick up and carry Jean, then help Ethan stand up. I continue walking deeper into the city.

 

[Myst]

It doesn't take long to find the city. It had been in obvious view this whole time. I take my time looking around each building until I set my eyes on a little bakery. This must be the place. I glance around to see if anyone was there but I'm alone. That's alright. I walk inside the bakery and let out a shriek as I spot another one of those monsters.

 

[FireNinja1]

"Um...thanks," I say quietly.

 

[Beary]

I pick up a stone, and throw it at a nearby one. The resounding crack makes me wince.

 

[Myst]

I dig through my bag for my sword but by then it's too late, the monster is hovering over me, drool falling over me. A strange discolored smoke begins to emit from the beast's eyes... I start to grow very tired... soon, I collapse upon the floor unconscious, sword in my hand, and my bag on my back...

 

[FireNinja1]

"I heard a scream," I say as I run over to the bakery. "There's smoke," I say. The door was still open so I ran in. It looked like the all of the beasts were surrounding the one I killed earlier as some sort of ritual. They all charged me, all ten of them. I ran to get behind the counter, and I began to snipe them down.

 

[Myst]

(The smoke makes you pass out so you might need masks...)

 

[Naiad]

(( wait does that mean we all die b/c none of us have masks))

 

[Myst]

(we don't "die", we just knock out for a few hours...

aka timeskip anyone?)

 

[nard]

I get woken up from the abrupt stop. "Wha.."

 

[Naiad]

(( alright, I just kind of assumed that the monsters would kill us while we were knocked out. ))

I frown as sleepiness overtakes me. I struggle to keep my eyes open, and manage to find that Orion has awoken. "Good to see ya," my speech is beginning to slur. My eyes close and I hit the ground.

 

[nard]

I see that she passes out, and back up out of the smoke. Oh no! I look around for something to stop the smoke. I need a gas mask! I see a factory nearby, and pray there's one in there. I sprint up to the door and break it down, since it's weak. I frantically dig through piles of rubble, until I see it.

 

[Beary]

"Wha..?" I say slowly, then fall to the ground.

( I was with Orion and Sai, heh )

 

[FireNinja1]

I wake up for some reason just outside of the bakery. I spring, but I didn't see where I was going and I trip on Sai. "Oh-" and then my forehead hits the pavement.

 

[Beary]

( GOOD WORK GUYS. )

 

[Naiad]

Honestly Orion's the only one that hasn't passed out yet so he has to take down 9 of them by himself now gg ))

 

[Myst]

(You could do a timeskip, wake up, and the monsters vanished... or just wait for Orion. heh)

 

[Beary]

( If he comes back online... )

Putting on the mask, I run back outside the factory with my crowbar. Well, it's now or never. I walk into the smoke, and see a beast charge at me. I swing the crowbar into his leg and he falls to the ground. All the others crowd around me, and I try to knock them all down. I get a couple, and one grabs and lifts me into the air. I smack his eye and I fall. I kill the rest and begin to drag everyone out of the burning bakery.

 

[Naiad]

((#Hell yus))

I wake up, groggy. My body feels sore as I force myself to stand up. We're still in the city, possibly a street? I see the group members lying around me.

I panic as I realize that Orion is gone.

"O-Orion?"
