Rolling my eyes, I bend over and kiss Ans, quickly but firmly. "Happy?" I exclaim, sitting in a corner.

I cross my arms and look away.
But maybe, I was a little bit okay with it.

"So what now?" I ask. I wasn't sure what to do.

I sit back and do all in my power to keep a straight face and not burst out laughing.

I laugh, "That was cute."

 

[Beary]

The ears coming from the top of my head twitch a bit, and I glare at Helix.

 

[Myst]

"Helix, just laugh already. I can hear how much you want to."

Oops. I quickly cover my mouth. I didn't tell them about my gift yet... now, they'll surely know...

I can feel my cheeks burning red, as I look away, a bit ashamed for betraying Anku.

I turn red, and my image flashes to a wolf for a second. "Oops."

"FINE!" I say. "Jean, truth, or dare? Because I'm getting revenge."

"Me again?" I ask then shrug. "I am no chicken. Dare all the way."

I block out the conversation and pull out the book titled "Haven" from my backpack. I open to the first page and clear away the dust before starting to read.

"Um..." I say a bit awkwardly. I...don't quite know what to say. I've never really kissed anyone since that "relationship" in seventh grade.
