[Roleplay] The Aftermath

[toxapex]

I hear Jean say something as I plunge into the water. It's much deeper than my knee. It's well over my head, in fact.

 

[Beary]

"Just jump." I say to Jean, and I start going through the water, except there is a sudden dip. I scream, but that is cut off by me sinking.

 

[CommanderLeahShepard]

I drop Sage in panic. "I'm NOT getting into the water. No way in hell."

People start drowning and I panic more. "Guys?!"

 

[toxapex]

I surface. "No, seriously, Jean, the water's fine! Just swim across and DON'T OPEN YOUR EYES. It's perfectly clean though, trust me."

 

[Beary]

I swim back up to the surface, paddling like a maniac. "Don't. Like. WATER."

 

[toxapex]

I climb onto Jean's side. "Look, I'll carry Sage across, even. Just focus on crossing yourself."

 

[Naiad]

"We're fine, Jean." I swim ahead of everyone else until I reach the other side. The high school swim team was the best.

 

[CommanderLeahShepard]

"Well... You see..." I mutter. "I can't... Swim..."

 

[Beary]

I reach the other side, and shake myself quite doglike.

 

[Jawile]

"Here goes nothing." I take a deep breath, throw the torch to the other side, and hold my chaingun above my head so it doesn't get wet.

 

[toxapex]

"Oh... just... wait here." I swim across with Sage and place her on the opposite shore, and start back for Jean.

 

[Beary]

I catch the torch. "Jean, just swim. You don't even have to keep your head above water. JUST FLAIL."

 

[CommanderLeahShepard]

I wait for Helix. Well, this is embarrassing...

 

[Naiad]

I catch the torch. "Jean, just swim. You don't even have to keep your head above water. JUST FLAIL."

I crouch like a diver next to the shore. "Get on..." I say to Jean. Well, this is embarrassing...

(( I almost drowned when I was 7 so my only experience with pools now are anime pools))

I do whatever Helix says and we manage to get to the other side. When I get out I shiver from the cold water. "No WAY was that clean."

 

[Beary]

( I haven't almost drowned but I have a completely irrational fear of water. )

I use my fingers to comb out my hair a bit, then hand Ans the torch.

(I can swim kinda well, but I'm the slowest out of all my brothers. (Except for the one that doesn't know how to swim))
