[Roleplay] The Aftermath 2.5 - A Cushion For Our Hearts

[Myst]

Tears start to flow from my eyes as the water grows increasingly cold.

It's been so long since I've been able to cry like this...

 

[Naiad]

I sigh and lean on the wall near the bathroom door.

[Myst]

I slam my fist against the wall and begin to mutter curses.

 

[Naiad]

I jump slightly, my eyes wide.

What the hell?

I reach out, prepared to knock. ... Should I really..? I hesitate.

 

[Myst]

I slide against the wall and sit on the floor of the shower while cold water continues to sting my skin.

 

[Naiad]

I knock on the door. "Blaze?"

 

[Myst]

I freeze up. "S-Sai?"

 

[Naiad]

"Yeah... Are you alright?"

 

[Myst]

"Y-yeah... why wouldn't I be...?"

 

[Naiad]

".... There was a lot of cursing for the bathroom."

I tilt my head. "That thump didn't sound all too good either."

 

[Myst]

"Well... it's nothing, really... Just go back to bed..." I sigh.

 

[Naiad]

"It didn't sound like nothing." I mumble.

 

[Myst]

"Sai, just..." My voice cracks. "...leave me alone..."

 

[Naiad]

"Now I know that something's wrong. Blaze, open the door."

 

[Myst]

I close my eyes and kick the shower door open. I mutter under my breath, "Stubborn as always..."

 

[Naiad]

"Of course I'm stubborn, I had to babysit the members of the Pollination for long enough."

 

[Myst]

I stay seated on the ground of the shower and close my eyes. "Oh? Was the mind reader that much trouble for you?" I say in a lower voice, "You should've let me kill her..."

 

[Naiad]

I glance at the running shower. ... Well.

I sigh and sit down next to him. Damn, this is cold. I shiver involuntarily.

"Troublesome people are still lovable people."

(Assume they had dinner and stuff)

"Ah, man..." I say, entering the apartment with Sage. "I'm glad we moved here, because it seems like 'right above that diner' is the best location I could've hoped for." I smile contentedly and sit down on the couch.

 

[Myst]

I laugh. "I doubt it... her and her brother really should not have been allowed to live... not to mention that girl's boyfriend... and ugh... I despise all of them..."
