[Roleplay] The Aftermath 2.5 - A Cushion For Our Hearts

[Myst]

"It's not your fault. Actually, I think I'll just take a cold shower." I start to climb out of bed.

 

[Naiad]

I grab his arm softly. "It's too early for a shower..." I yawn. "Why don't we just turn on the AC or open the windows?"

 

[Myst]

"Sai, it's not that early... we went to sleep early... like always..." I glance at the clock. "It's still only 11pm."

 

[Naiad]

I sit up. "... Really...?" I stifle another yawn.

I smile weakly. "We sort of have to sleep early with jobs like ours." I sigh. "I wish it was different."

 

[Myst]

I smirk a bit dangerously. "Well, I'm sure the guys won't mind if I take tomorrow off. Why don't we just stay up tonight?"

(Which is an expression Sai hasn't seen in a looong time bc Blaze turned all serious and mature over the last 5 years.)

 

[Naiad]

My eyes widen. Is he suggesting..?

"Are you suggesting what I think you're suggesting?" I purr while inching closer to him.

 

[Myst]

"If you were thinking a cold beverage and an episode of Doctor Who, you are correct." I chuckle.

 

[Naiad]

I headbutt him softly. "Dork."

 

[Myst]

I roll my eyes. "What did you think I meant?"

(Tbh: Blaze has had enough sex during his younger years to last him a lifetime and he loves Sai too much to just treat her like another partner. Sai was only able to trick him those two times because a) blind and b) she knows his weaknesses. XD )

 

[Naiad]

I shake my head and sit back. "Nevermind, how about that episode?"

If you're unhappy, you should tell him.

 

[Myst]

(And also, older Blaze is more boring/bitter. At this age, he thinks a Doctor Who episode would be "wild" )

"Sure." Feeling a bit risky tonight, I pull my t-shirt off and allow the cool air to hit my bare skin. I glance down and frown a bit when I see how different I look.

Still a six-pack but my skin isn't as vibrant as it once was...

 

[Naiad]

I glance up. Nope. Can't touch. I shouldn't touch. Ugh...

There's always the option of finding someone to let your frustrations onto. Go to a club, get a guy...

[Myst]

I glance over at her with an amused smile on my face. "What are you thinking about? Want to watch upstairs or downstairs?"

(I'm assuming they have a tv in their room. If not, lmk.)

 

[Naiad]

I shake my head. "Nothing." I smile weakly.

I glance at our TV. "I guess watch in here."

 

[Myst]

I study her face for a moment. "Something's wrong. C'mon tell me. Maybe 'ol Blaze can help you out." I wink.

Confessing romance issues to my husband. Great.

I sigh and run a hand through my hair. "I just— don't know what to do anymore. It's like all we ever do is watch TV, cook, take care of the kids, or work." I sigh. "That sort of life... it's so... boring."

 

[Myst]

I shrug. "I'm sorry for being so boring... I actually enjoy the little things... With my wild past, it feels nice to have a routine." I give a half-smile.

 

[Naiad]

I smile weakly. "I know. That's why I've put up with this for three goddamn years."

 

[Myst]

"I value our love too highly to let intimacy get in the way." I sigh. "But... If it's something you really want... I'll do it for you..."

(And imagine the first round was wild bc he was newly blind and they first got together but second round was very tame/calm. Blaze sure has toned it down over the years. Imagine Sai missing the younger him. XD )
